Industries & Critical Applications:
The Reid Lifting 375 kg SWL T Davit is a critical asset across numerous industries where safe, portable, and reliable lifting is essential.
- Water & Wastewater Treatment: Indispensable for accessing and maintaining pumping stations, valve chambers, clarifiers, and underground sewer networks. Critical applications include lifting submersible pumps, flow meters, and facilitating safe entry and egress for personnel in confined spaces.
- Oil & Gas (Onshore & Offshore): Utilized for equipment maintenance, valve manipulation, and safe personnel access in hazardous and confined areas on drilling rigs, production platforms, refineries, and storage facilities. Essential for operations requiring ATEX certification for explosive atmospheres.
- Marine & Shipbuilding: Vital for onboard maintenance, engine room operations, equipment transfer on docks, and rescue scenarios on various marine vessels and offshore structures.
- Confined Space Entry & Rescue: A cornerstone for rescue teams and industrial operations involving confined spaces, enabling safe entry, retrieval of casualties, and lowering/raising of equipment in environments such as tanks, silos, culverts, and manholes.
- Telecommunications & Utilities: Used for installing and servicing equipment in underground vaults, cable trenches, and elevated positions on communication masts and utility poles.
- HVAC & Facilities Management: Ideal for lifting and positioning heavy HVAC units, motors, and other plant room equipment in areas with limited space or restricted access on rooftops and within building interiors.
- Manufacturing & Industrial Maintenance: Supports routine and emergency maintenance of machinery, lifting heavy components, and material handling in production lines and workshops, particularly where a flexible lifting point is required.
- Rope Access & Construction: Specialized configurations are used by rope access technicians for safe anchor points and supported access during facade maintenance, bridge inspections, and challenging construction projects at height.
