Service
Whether it is an on-site service or servicing of your equipment remotely after removal from site, HOIST and WINCH can offer you the solution
to suit your needs.
We have expertise in the servicing off manual, air, hydraulic and electric powered Hoists, Cranes and Winches.
We can offer full maintenance contracts with the frequency of visits to site tailored in accordance with the utilisation of your lifting equipment.
Repair
When appropriate we can carryout repairs to your equipment on site in order to minimise your down time, in cases when an on-site repair is not possible or practical we can remove the equipment from site and carryout the necessary work in our workshop facilities. In such cases we would be pleased to investigate the feasibility of providing a short-term hire solution to minimise the disruption to your production process.
Testing and Inspection
LOLER regulations require all lifting equipment to be inspected on an annual basis
and in certain cases on a 6 monthly frequency. We can offer the services of one of
our Engineers to carry out the inspections and advise you on the requirements of
the legislation.
If required we can carryout a full assessment/inventory of your existing lifting equipment and design an inspection procedure tailored to your needs.
In certain cases a full operational load test is either required or recommended and
we can also provide this service along with the hire of suitable test weights and ancillary equipment.
Refurbishment
With the relatively low costs of modern equipment it is sometimes more cost
effective to replace equipment when it is due for refurbishment. This is particularly true in respect of smaller capacity items, however, for larger capacity or bespoke equipment it is often more cost effective and quicker to select the refurbishment route. Sadly with the decline in the numbers of available skilled personnel it is increasingly more difficult to source this service. However, again HOIST and WINCH have the necessary skills and experience to solve your refurbishment problem. In all cases after viewing the equipment we will provide you with a written overview report, a realistic time scale for the work and either a budget price or an hourly rate quotation
Installation
With many years of practical experience behind us we are skilled in the installation of all kinds of lifting equipment and we are equally at home carrying out standard general industry installations, as we are solving the more awkward and complex installation problems.
When required we can supply fully documented method statements and risk assessments detailing our proposed installation procedure.
